Ozone Pilots Win Gold at World Championships

The 2014 World Paramotor Championships took place in Matkopuszta Airfield, Hungary, August 6-16. There were over 100 pilots from 14 countries competing at the event from as far away as Thailand, Qatar and Japan.

Three gold and one bronze medals went to Ozone pilots in individual classes:

1st Alex Mateos in PF1 class (Viper 3 20)

1st Coralie Mateos in PF1 female class (Slalom 19)

1st Ryszard Zygadlo / Basia Grzegorczyk in PF2 tandem foot launch class (Speedster 33)

3rd Yann Leudiere / Sylvain Dupuis in PF2 tandem foot launch class (Speedster 33)

The RedBull X-Alps – Video

Last summer, the 2013 RedBull X-Alps saw a clean sweep of the podium by Ozone pilots, with all top 5 spots going to athletes flying the LM5. Chrigel Maurer won the race in record time. The event will be on again in 2015, and some of the athletes are already in training mode or recovering from the X-Pyrenees event, which Chrigel handily won, flying his LM5.
