New Viper 3

After 2 years of testing and development, we are happy to announce that new Viper 3 has arrived. Replacing the successful Viper2 the Viper3 features several major improvements and innovations including the patented Ozone Shark Nose Technology, a newly designed riser system with ball bearing pulleys and a new wing tip steering system.

The Viper 3 is a classic competition wing designed for advanced pilots only. In a series of competition wins in 2014, Ozone Team Pilot, Alex Mateos, proved the efficiency of this new wing by dominating the economy tasks.

Swedish Championships – Finished

Swedish Championships – Finished

Last weekend, the Swedish championships 2014 was held in Åre.
A flying place only allowing pilots with an acro glider doing three maneuvers program.

Making it better for beginners, but also more difficult as each pilot had to compose their program not only based on technical coefficients, but also altitude loss on each maneuver.
The Swedish Championships is an Open competition FAI cat2. Which allow pilots from any nation to participate. But only a Swedish pilot can become a Swedish champion.

It was a 3 days competition.

Tom Weissenberger wins Brazilian Hang Gliding Nationals

Tom Weissenberger led a trio of Moyes Boys to win the Brazilian Nationals in Brasilia last week. Tom won four of six tasks to win the comp with 4,597 points. Dave Turner’s Double X-Alps Journey Complete!

A few months ago, Dave Turner contacted us and said that he had some rather ambitious plans. He told us that he was planning to first complete a solo-unsupported crossing and traverse of the Sierra Mountains, from the California coast to the northern NV desert. And after that, he said, he planned to traverse the entire length of the Alps from Nice, France, to the Slovenian border, solo and unsupported. Then, without even resting, he said that he was going to fly all the way back to Nice, France… tandem with his partner, Tawny Thomas. Well, he did.
