PAL TAKATS AT RED BULL AIR RACE in Hungary and UK
Once again this year Pal Takats was part of the RedBull Air-Race series performing paramotor displays in Hungary and England. He was using a Viper 2 powered by his new PPG partners FlyProducts and Cors-Air Motors. Pal had this to say about Budapest: “To fly in front of the parliament in the city center of my hometown was an over 10 years old dream coming true! What a special moment! Finally this event, hard authorization work, and paramotor flying it made it possible!”
He recently returned from the Ascot Racetrack in England which for centuries has been the epicenter of horse racing, and for the second time provided a unique race location for the 2015 Air-Race series with lovely weather conditions for that weekend. “I’ve never actually had the chance to display in front of such a grand stand like at the Ascot racetrack! It was like being in an arena!” – he explained about the location. “I feel proud to have the chance to show and promote our sport at such high profile venues time to time even if just for a few minutes. It was my 5th RedBull Air-Race demo and each location so far was truly exciting and …read more

Nova Ibex 3 (EN B) / Montis+ review
Charlie King tries a mountain wing with the promise it can be flown XC Nova’s Ibex 3 is “by mountaineers, for mountaineers”. Ed Ewing grabs the ‘100K on an EN A’ Challenge Cup My first flight on the Sky Anakis 3 was on a low windy hill in the south of England. The place was empty apart from two guys carving fast loops in the air with their model gliders. “It might calm down for you lot, […] …read more
Niviuk Dobermann review (PPG)
It’s a slalom freestyle paramotor wing – just up Jeff Goin’s street Efficiency. What really set this wing apart is a generational improvement in efficiency. For any pilot, whether competing or cruising, it’s like getting free horsepower. Spend it how you like – on distance, speed, climb rate, or maybe getting away with smaller propulsion […] …read more
Nova Somnium harness review
Are your eyes feeling brave? Seeing the Somnium for the first time is like flicking through a car magazine and seeing an advert for strange new Japanese car – perhaps the Kia Soul. I mean, it looks like a harness, but it’s just a bit different, you know? Best not looked at on take-off when […] …read more

Little Cloud Grasshopper
Top marks to Little Cloud for producing this bright little gem of a harness When I opened the box my first impression was ‘it’s green, it’s very, very green!’ Open it up and it’s bright pink on the inside, just like you’ve cut it open. The guys at Little Cloud certainly have a sense of […] …read more

Paramania invent world’s first water pylon
Paramania have released pictures of their new water pylon, which is aimed at making slalom paramotoring safer. The pylon requires less air pressure to hold it up, which makes it more forgiving of any impact. It will collapse easily if a pilot hits the pylon. In a statement Paramania said: [We] initiated a project […] …read more
