The X-Rockies Team Pushes On and Gets High

Thomas and Nelson are now already in New Mexico, ahead of schedule on their 3000km journey along the length of the North American Rockies.
Their latest dispatch: “After a short run in Colorado, offering us unbelievably high altitude (17,999ft) flights, we headed to the New Mexico desert. Enjoying good flying conditions, the terrain seemed to get more and more difficult to use. Mountainous spots get further from each other. Ozone pilots around the world are enjoying their new wings, on XC adventures, hike & fly missions, and in comps.

Sebastian Kummer writes to us about a weekend hike & fly mission, which took him across the crest of the Austrian Alps. Sebastian writes, “Please find attached some impressions from my XC Hike&Fly tour on the past weekend. The conditions were phenomenal which gave me and my new Alpina 2 the chance to explore the Alps North and South. It was a fantastic adventure and I am near the status “impressions-overload””. Kirsty Cameron Wins Big, Again

Kirsty Cameron took third overall in the British Champs at Gemona Italy, in another highly impressive performance. Kirsty has rapidly become one of the world’s leading pilots and we’re very happy that she was able to fulfil her dream of standing on an overall podium in a major competition. Ozone pilots took the first four places: congratulations to Emile and Damien who shared the podium with Kirsty. All results can be seen here.

Young Ozone Team Pilot, Fran Reina, is in a habit of winning most of the competitions that he enters. We fully support him in this habit

At the recent FIA El Yelmo Event, pilots flew three splendid tasks in good conditions. Fran was joined on the podium by Felix Rodriguez, who won the last task and took 3rd overall. Full results can be seen here.
