Congrats to Thomas Groefler for his 200 km Out and Return Austrian record with his Mantra M6!
His wife says that he had to fly very fast because they were to spend their honeymoon in Slovenia and Thomas tried to come back to her as fast as possible. He was very fast indeed and made a new Austrian record!
Very well done, congrats, all the best for you both, and Cheers from all the team!

At the most recent PWC event in Disentis, Switzerland, Ozone team pilot Seiko Fukuoka Naville delivered what is probably the all-time best performance of any woman in the history of paragliding competition. Almost one thousand points ahead of the second place woman, Seiko finished in 20th place overall, beating the vast majority of the men while flying with a serious speed disadvantage.
Ozone pilots took 6 out of the top 10 spots, with Stefan Wyss in second place overall flying his Enzo 2, just behind fellow local Chrigel Maurer. The local Swiss flew well, as usual, sweeping the top four spots. The competition was, by all accounts, a beautiful event in a stunning locale!
Overall results, and women’s.
Cheers, from all the Team.

Calling it “the perfect […] …read more

Icaro have released a new paraglider speedbar to the market. They say it’s light, robust and user-friendly. Its bright red anti-slip EVA-foam-covered main bar makes it stand out in a crowd and, more importantly, means your feet don’t slip off it while you accelerate. It has a Nitinol (sprung steel) strap below it, to make it easy to hook with […] …read more

The German Open has come to a conclusion with 3 small tasks flown due to poor weather. Ferdinand Vogel became German Champion 2015 followed by Manuel Bauer in 3nd and Martin Petz in 3rd. The top 7 spots were held by Enzo 2 pilots. The young Germans rocked it and no “old heroes” could reach the German podium. Big congrats, especially to the youth – very well done!
The Overall Podium was Suza Primoz, Ferdinand Vogel, and Lóránt Falucskai, in that order, all on Enzo 2s.
The Women’s Overall Podium was Nao Takada on her M6, Annalena Hinestroza, and Yvonne Dathe also on here M6.
