“Russel Metlitzky, a Pasadena California resident, was injured in a motorcycle accident in his mid 20′s. He was left paralyzed from the chest down. This life-altering tragedy was devastating, especially for such an extreme-sports fanatic. After a long recovery process, and with the loving support of his family & friends, Russel went on to show the world his true warrior strength. It wasn’t long before he was base jumping, paragliding, rock climbing, and skydiving again. Russel is a shining example of the saying “never give up” and has become a legend in the Powered Paragliding community.
