Fran Reina Wins Again

Young Spanish phenom, Fran Reina, stood at the top of the podium at the recent Piedrahita National League comp. His brother, Jose Manuel, was just behind him in 2nd overall. Fran reported excellent race conditions with a 150km, 100km, and a 60km task.

Ozone Pilots Sweep 2013 Austrian Nationals

Ozone Team Pilot, Heli Eichholzer, is the new Austrian National Champion for 2013. And he shared the podium with 100% Ozone pilots.

After 3 valid tasks, only two little points separated Heli from Alex Schalber, and they were followed by yet another EnZo pilot, Rudi Niedermühlbichler. Stephan Gruber held a solid lead with his Enzo after the first two tasks, but was passed on the third and ended up in 4th overall.

Three New World Records by Ozone Pilots

During last World Paramotor Championship, in Marugan, Spain, three Ozone pilots achieved World Records for Time on a Precision Circuit (Clover leaf Slalom) in 3 different classes:

Class PF1 (foot launch overall) – Alex Mateos (FR) flying Viper 20 and Macfly Polini Thor 200 with a time of 36.31 sec (direct link)
Class PF1 (foot launch female) – Emilia Plak (POL) flying Speedster 19 and PAP PA125 with a time of 43.7 sec (direct link)
