Ozone Team in Texas
The Ozone R&D Team are currently in Texas, flying a little cross country with some friends. After a few days of wind, a bit of rain, an intro to paraglider winch-towing, and a bit of Western culture, the team are now in the air! Felix Wins Again, 21/25 Top Pilots Fly Ozone
The most recent PWCA event at Serra da Estrela has come to a close, with 21 out of the top 25 pilots all flying Ozone, and the top 5 spots all Ozone. Felix Rodriguez took first overall in this second consecutive PWCA overall win (he also won the most recent PWCA event at Couer de Savoie, France) and was joined on the podium by Julien Wirtz and Pepe Malecki.
Yvonne Dathe, of Germany, took 3rd place in the women’s division flying her Mantra M6.

X-Rockies Journey Complete!
Thomas Punty and Nelson de Freyman have just completed a rather amazing vol-biv adventure along the length of the Rockies from deep in Canada all the way to the Mexico border. Over 4 months the duo traveled only by foot, skis, and paraglider (Alpina2). We would like to wish them both a hearty congratulations for one of the longest (the longest?) and most rugged vol-biv journeys in the history of the sport.

Dave Turner is Crossing the Alps, Twice
After completing the first ever Sierra Vol-Biv Traverse in the western USA, Ozone Team Pilot Dave Turner has moved on to the Alps. He flew into Nice, France, and 18 days, 4 hours after walking out of the airport door, he arrived in Slovenia having used only his own two feet and his LM5/Ozium. Dave traveled SOLO, UNSUPPORTED, for the entire 1300km vol-biv journey from the Nice airport to the Slovenian border.
