Ozone team pilot, Pal Takats, performed another paramotor display at the Red Bull Air Race, this time in Abu Dhabi. He flew once a day over three days in good conditions demonstrating acro maneuvers and low-level dynamic flying. This was the first stop in the 2015 tour and hopefully we will see him doing more demos at other locations this year.
Pal says, of his trip:
“I was very happy to have the chance to perform a paramotor demo on the first stop off the 2015 Redbull Air Race season! After Croatia and Malaysia it was the third such event for me in one year. It is always a very unique experience to be able to fly at locations where you normally could not be flying legally! For the first time I was flying a show with a 100 meter long ribbon tape that was great fun and offers nice visuals for the spectators. As usual I first performed a series of acro maneuvers followed by low level piloting playing with the water. Conditions were quite nice for …read more

If you are a Powered Paragliding or Paragliding enthusiast and are seeking ways to improve your aerial filming, you have come to the right place! In the past, the invention of a motorized gimbal for RC Drones captured the attention of many Aerial videographers and the footage was stunning. Now, Powered Paragliding & Paragliding Pilots can take advantage of similar technology by utilizing a handheld version of this gimbal. Pilots can expect perfectly smooth horizontal & vertical video footage, just like shooting on a rail dolly. The same “high-tech” stuff seen in Hollywood movies is now accessible and affordable to everyone!
The “3-Axis” refers to roll, pitch, and pan axis when you are walking, running, or even flying. The gyroscope inside the gimbal will intelligently pick up movement patterns and tell ALL THREE MOTORS to counter the movement, therefore keeping the gimbal stable. The result is flawlessly smooth footage. In a fraction of a second, this unit will seamlessly stay in the perfectly desired position. The video you will get is just like shooting with a Dolly Grip. This type of technology was originally intended for Professional …read more
