The Moto Era

Since more then a year now some are pushing paramotor flying with their acro wings and at least since Hernan Pitocco (ARG) did the first Infinit Tumble, we all realized that this new way exists.
Recently we hear a lot from the Malaguitas (ESP) flying non stop with their paramotors; Javi doing huge wingtip touches or pulling the first connections like the Infinit to Helico.

Disney’s Top Secret Fire Breathing Flying Dragon

By Mark Zinkel

High above the Shafter-Minter Field airport in California, an animated flying dragon has been spotted soaring through the skies. This mechanical flying beast has been linked to Walt Disney Imagineering, being tested roughly 2 hours north of their Glendale, Calif. headquarters.
The dragon is a variation on an ultralight aircraft, utilizing a fan and kite to stay afloat while an onboard pilot navigates it. According to The Bakersfield Californian, Disney intended to keep this test dragon a secret, requiring nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements to be signed by airport officials working with them. But it was still noticed, with local restaurant manager Tammy Zaninovich posting photos online (and subsequently shared by the Californian), noting that the dragon does more than fly – it “breaths fire and the mouth opens and closes.”

Andrey and Alexey Go Big With their M4s in the Himalaya

Russian pilots Andrey Alepov and Alexey Druzhinin recently returned from the Himalaya, where they completed some nice vol-biv flights. Alexey departed on a pretty serious vol-biv fight at the end of October, crossing altitudes of over 6800m and sleeping at altitudes up to 4800m where the nighttime temps dipped down to -18C. Alexey carried most of his own food and water, and was alone for almost the entire 8 days, until he met his friend Andrey unexpectedly adn at over 5000m when they crossed paths on their own XC routes. The two continued to fly around the region on their M4s, enjoying spectacular XC flying near the Kulu valley.
Check out the video below, which is full of epic Himalayan views from high altitude thermals. (Link to video here)
Cheers from all the Team, and congrats to Andrey and Alexey, we’re so glad that you’re enjoying your M4s!
