Gavin McClurg broke the US paragliding foot launch record on 15 July 2013, flying 383km from Sun Valley, Idaho on his Niviuk Peak 3.

The first world cup’s stop of the year, AcroMax, just ended last sunday after a super nice week in Udine, Italy.
In solo Horacio take the lead after an impressive competition meanwhile the French team put 5 pilot in the top7. Marvin Ogger manage to put himself between for a nice 4th place after big fights. The level was high and this was a good start for an incredible season ! Read the full report below.

UPDATE:July 17 10:15 CET
The first 5 pilots into goal at Monaco were all flying Ozone LM5s. A huge congratulations to Clement Latour, Antoine Girard, Jon Chambers, and Peter Gebhard, who followed Chrigel into goal! We hope that they are all enjoying cold drinks and a view of the Mediterranean

Expert XC Pilot and veteran instructor, Andrey Alepov, writes to us about a mega-tow his school performed in Russia recently. Andrey reports:
“We have set a new record to bring a pilot to 3110m, towing. We have found a long field about 5 km. We put together many cables and came to the result of 5 km of cable. We used the tandem Magnum for a single pilot to compensate the possible load to the wing. The wind was 2 – 4 ms that day. The time of towing was 40min. The whole time of flight till the landing was 1
