LM5 Now Certified and In Production

As we announce this exciting new wing, it is currently being flown in the RedBull X-Alps event by 12 Ozone Team pilots. We wish them all the best!

The LM5 is our newest lightweight high performance paraglider designed for expert pilots who are on the cutting edge of vol-biv adventure flying. The LM5 was developed specifically for the pilots in the Red Bull X-Alps race. By combining cutting edge design technology recently gained from the Ozone Performance Project and the Mantra R series of wings (R11, R12, EnZo) and over a decade of ultra-light paraglider construction

And They’re Off! Epic X-Alps Racing…

If you aren’t already glued to your computer screen, you might want to check out the latest locations of the X-Alps competitors, who are currently racing through Austria in classic Alpine conditions. A highly technical and impressively long course lies ahead of them, and although the forecast is looking excellent (at least compared to the past month of mostly rain in the Alps) for the next week, they still have a long way to go. Bill Belcourt and Nick Greece on the Rat Race Podium

At the 2013 Rat Race, in the USA, Ozone Team Pilot Bill Belcourt borrowed a Delta 2 and won the Sport Class in the event. In his typically laconic style, Bill said, “It’s a really nice glider with great performance and stability. Hats off to the team.” Bill’s teammate, Nick Greece, stood on the podium in 3rd overall, flying his EnZo. Nick reports: “The comp was plagued with rain for the first three days, but finished up with magnificent flying conditions which saw solid 70+km tasks with diverse line choices.”
