New Australian Distance record

Our friend Garth Camac wrote to let us know of his as yet unofficial distance record:

Hi Guys,
Had a good hit out yesterday and, unofficially so far, set a new Australian distance record at 391km. We were towing at Deniliquin which has seen, and can be relied on to provide some strong conditions and plenty of space to go with the wind. We have had an international crew here with Swiss, Slovenian, German, American and Australian pilots all pushing hard and helping each other get in the air and home again.

Track log can be seen here.

I was flying my Mantra M6, Exoceat with Angel and had a blast.:)

I’ve had a couple of big months and managed to cover a fair bit of ground, this M6 has been a great wing and will be only good for windsocks in the next few months at this rate!

Garth

Congrats on the distance and cheers from all the team!
